Love the idea... as a designer can I shop based on Pantone reference, CMYK or hexadecimal values? Just wondering how specific colour shopping can be. I must admit I buy, cook and dress by colour more than function.

I think choosing a colour and searching for complimentary colours is brilliant. No need to upload photo if you can just pick a colour from a selection - photo won't be colour accurate anyway.

Allow upload of photos (eg living room), and flip to products that have complimentary colours. Depending on the general colours of the photo , or by pointing to a specific colour on the photo. Maybe be some true colour accuracy issues to ponder.
