Hours 16, 17 & 18: Monosyllabic grunts and The Prodigy on LOUD.

Posted on | November 27, 2009 | 1 Comment

It’s the early hours of the morning and things are really hotting up on the development front. Stuff is starting to appear on the the developers screens that looks really cool even though most of us don’t know what it means.

Apparrently, this is isolating the object in the image and then pulling out key colours for use by our search tool! Honest!!!

Apparently, this screen-shot is showing how our code is isolating the object in the image and then pulling out key colours for use by our search tool! Honest!!!

Everyone’s far too busy for in-depth interviews, and so tired they’re incapable of proper conversation anyway (we’re all waiting for our “4th wind”… The Prodigy are helping). So, here’s a quick round of one-word updates from a few key figures to the question how’s it going?

Dave – running the technical team – “OK”

Robbie – writing the business plan – “Slowly”

Will – photshopping some colurful stuff – “Splendidly”

Nick – Skinning Dr Hue’s blog for our marketing campaign – “Notbad”  (he didn’t really get the concept)

John – Controlling the stereo – “Louder”

Rob – Writing this – “Meh.”

One thing to note is that the office ran out of milk 2 hours ago. Black tea and coffee all round. And we have no idea how early the shop opens.

Oh and, a little treat is also being prepared as part of a blogger outreach campaign – more on that in the next post, but keep your eyes peeled for the chance to get involved!

I love it when people have no concept of what’s on our screens, then we flip and switch and go “Ta-da!” and they are enthused again! lol
